2009 FORD E-SERIES: These full-size cargo vans and passenger wagons (seat eight to 15 adults) have been best-sellers in the United States a long time. New for 2009 in the Econoline Cargo and Wagon series (E-150, E-250, E-350) is a redesigned instrument panel and options, such as Upfitter user-friendly switches, rearview camera, satellite radio and a navigation system. Another Ford option is an in-dash computer with Internet access, complete with mouse and printer. Econoline 4.6- and 5.7-liter engines have flex fuel capability (gasoline or E85) in 2009. Gasoline engines range from a 4.6-liter, 225-horsepower V8 to a 6.8-liter, 305-horsepower V10. Towing capacity ranges from 6,000 to 10,000 pounds. A 6-liter diesel engine has been dropped for 2009 model wagons, but a stability control system now is standard equipment.
