2009 HUMMER H2. The incomparable HUMMER H2 enters ‘09 with new technologies – including Bluetooth connectivity– new interior amenities, a Black Chrome limited edition model and standard E85 FlexFuel capability. Available later in the model year, only 1,300 Black Chrome editions will be available worldwide, and distinguished on the outside with black chrome details. All ’09 H2 SUV and H2 SUT models are powered by a 6.2-liter small-block V-8 rated at 393 horsepower and paired with a six-speed Hydra-Matic RWD automatic trans. The H2 has an 8,200-lbs towing capacity and carries five passengers, or seven with option 2nd row seating. New for ’09, the 6.2L engine is calibrated for FlexFuel capability. It can run on E85 ethanol, gasoline or any combination of the two fuels.
